Nursing is learnt at the bedside and in the community as much as in the classroom. Alongside the curriculum of The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, students of Jainee College of Nursing take part in a wide range of clinical, community and co-curricular activities that build skill, confidence and compassion.

Clinical Postings

Supervised clinical experience in hospital wards, operation theatres, labour rooms and paediatric units, with case studies, care plans and bedside presentations guided by faculty.

Community Health Programmes

Community health nursing field visits, family surveys, school health check-ups and health education sessions in the villages around Dindigul.

Health Awareness Days

Observance of national and international health days – World Health Day, International Nurses Day, Breastfeeding Week, World AIDS Day and others – through rallies, skits and exhibitions.

Lamp Lighting & Oath Taking

The traditional lamp lighting and oath-taking ceremony welcomes students into the nursing profession in the spirit of Florence Nightingale.

Seminars & Workshops

Seminars, guest lectures, journal clubs, quiz programmes and skill workshops conducted by the departments to keep students up to date.

Sports & Cultural Events

Annual sports meet, cultural programmes, festival celebrations and inter-collegiate competitions for an all-round student life.
